Urban Tribes of Athens
Join-In Mode

is walk is about exploring popular as well as underrepresented neighborhoods of Athens using graffiti and street art as a methodological tool of observation. You will be introduced to an unusual yet imaginary and effective way of comprehending the physical and human geographies of the city. Due to the growing intensity of political events in the country, the domestic street art scene have been fueled and even foreign artists have been attracted, consolidating Athens as the contemporary Mecca of street art. Thus, graffiti and street art will offer exciting possibilities for spatial readings.
